My Journey

My life changed the night I crashed into two cars and a brick wall.

I was just 17 — drinking and driving — and I’ve been paralyzed from the chest down ever since.

But my story didn’t end there. It was just beginning.

I’ve battled addiction. I’ve experienced loss, regret, and deep physical challenges. I’ve lived through bladder cancer and chemotherapy, on top of life in a wheelchair.

But by God’s grace, I’ve also experienced deep healing, purpose, and joy.

I created a course, wrote a book, and built a movement to remind others: your transition doesn’t have to be the end—it can be the beginning of something powerful.

I believe:

- God still uses broken people

- We’re not meant to do life alone

- Our pain can become our purpose

- Laughter, faith, and real talk are medicine

My Purpose

It's not just a transaction — for me, it's about offering connection, hope, solutions, and guiding you to a space where you realize you can indeed thrive despite your setbacks and then supporting you through that transition.

As a coach, I’ve drawn on the shared experiences of the thousands I've worked with to develop a six-week course called “Thriving Through the Transition,” which guides individuals through reflection, healing, community, and calling, enabling them to reclaim their value and worth after experiencing the setbacks of a disability.

As a speaker, I focus on sharing my journey and offering hope to inspire and motivate a wide range of audiences, including schools, churches, expos, and virtual events.

As an author, I not only share my own journey of healing, faith, and perseverance, but I also help others write their stories and collaborate on books that inspire and transform.

As an advocate, I strive to provide assistance, support, and solutions to those in need.

My Faith

Thriving through the transition with God’s grace.

This moto lies at the heart of everything I do and I genuinely praise God for everything in my life. My prayer is that no matter where you are now, I can meet you and show you the love of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

I understand the questions, doubts, and anger that comes with a sudden life change and feeling like God has all but turned his back on you. But let me assure you, his love for us exceeds our understanding and he will raise us up to glorify His mighty name to all the nations.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

I vow to show God's love to you through any interaction, regardless of whether you are a believer or not, for that is my greatest calling.

A hand is holding a diamond in its palm.
